Chipping Tip
As a general rule, keep the ball as low as possible and get it rolling as soon as possible when you chip (and land it on the green whenever possible, too). Don't loft the ball up into the air if you don't have
to. Why not? Because the higher you throw the ball in the air the more the amount of spin on the ball can vary, and the steeper the ball comes down into the green the less reliable the bounce will be. Not to mention that the higher you want to throw
the ball in the air the better the lie you will need to give you your best chance. The bottom line here is predictability. The behavior of the ball on a chip is more consistent and predictable the lower the trajectory is and the
less spin it has on it.
